Creator payouts & commissions

When someone buys a product through your tagged video or storefront link, you earn a commission set by the shop. Here's how that money reaches you.

When it counts

Commission is locked in when the buyer confirms delivery (shares the PIN). Disputed orders don't pay commission until the dispute resolves in the seller's favour.

When it pays out

Creator payouts run on the same schedule as seller payouts: Tuesdays and Fridays in Uganda time. Everything that settled since the last payout day goes out.

Where it goes

Earnings go to the MoMo number you verified in Creator Hub → Payouts. Same setup as seller payouts — see Setting up payouts.

Commission rates

Rates are set per-product by the shop owner — anywhere from 5% to 50% depending on the product and the deal you've worked out. Check the rate before tagging.
